RCIA

RCIA IS THE PROCES

FOR YOUNG ADULTS TO ENTER THE CHURCH

RCIA

RCIA - Rite for Christian Initiation of Adults - is the process by which young adults enter the Catholic Church. It is also the way that baptized Catholics, who have not yet been confirmed, are prepared for the sacrament of Confirmation.

Our RCIA program is open to any young adult within the Diocese of Calgary between the ages of 18 and 35.

Weekly meetings run from September to May each year. Participants are then received into the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil.

There is no cost, no registration paperwork, and no strict requirement to begin in September. You are also welcome to simply observe a few of our meetings before deciding to continue on.
